Originally from Minnesota, was fortunate to be raised in a state and also a family that is rich in hunting tradition. He had the opportunity to learn from three previous generations that hunted whitetail’s on the very same ground where he began his hunting.

Tom has also been fortunate in his career as a co-owner of a golf course. A lenient fall schedule has for years allowed Tom to expand on his experiences from the forests of northern Minnesota. To date he has hunted whitetail’s in 16 different states and provinces, logging not only thousands of miles but thousands of hunting hours.

To go along with his whitetail experience he has also hunted almost all the western states and Alaska for big game. Since his early twenties September through December have been filled with the great outdoors. As you can imagine time has been on his side and he has been able to harvest some exceptional animals.

Tom has teamed up with his cousin Jeremy Putnam to form the "Southeast Freaks"
